Overview of KA-Certified Multistage Pumps
KA-certified multistage pumps represent a successful development by our factory, built upon the introduction, assimilation, and absorption of advanced technologies. This product not only boasts high efficiency and excellent cavitation performance but, crucially, ensures stable and reliable operation. Flow-through components utilize wear-resistant materials, with friction pairs and flow-through clearance mating surfaces treated through specialized processes. They are suitable for conveying neutral mine water and other similar wastewater containing solid particles not exceeding 1.5% (particle size less than 0.5mm) and temperatures not exceeding 40°C in coal mines, mines, factories, and other applications.

The suction inlet of the MD-type wear-resistant multistage centrifugal pump for coal mines is located horizontally on the suction section. The discharge outlet is vertically upward on the discharge section. The pump's suction section, intermediate section, and discharge section are integrated using tension bolts. The head can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of pump stages according to operational requirements.
Structure and Working Principle of Key Components of KA-Certified Multistage Pumps
⑴ Primary components of mining-grade wear-resistant multistage pumps: inlet section, discharge section, guide vanes, discharge section guide vanes, intermediate section, impeller, shaft, shaft sleeve, seal ring, balance ring, balance disc, end cover, etc. The rotor comprises impellers and balance discs mounted on the shaft, supported at both ends by rolling bearings lubricated with grease.
⑵ The working chamber of the mining wear-resistant multistage pump is formed by the inlet section, intermediate section, guide vanes, outlet guide vanes, outlet section, and rear cover. Fluid enters axially from one side. Axial forces generated during pump operation are balanced by the balance disc.

① Shaft Seal: Uses soft packing seal. The packing must be adjusted to an appropriate tightness, allowing fluid to seep out drop by drop.
② Drive: The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via a flexible coupling. Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
③ Seal ring: Prevents high-pressure water from leaking back into the inlet section. Replaceable when worn.
④ Balance disc: Located between the discharge section and tail cover, it balances axial forces.
⑤ Balancing Ring and Balancing Sleeve: Fixed to the discharge section, they form the balancing assembly with the balancing disc.
⑥ Sleeve Bushings: Located at both packing chambers, replaceable upon wear.
④ Working Principle: The pump shaft rotates driven by the motor, imparting energy to the liquid. This increases its pressure, enabling the required volume of liquid to be delivered from the suction tank through the pump's flow components to the desired elevation or pressure point.
