Overview of MA Series Mine-Use Multistage Pumps

The MA series mine-use multistage pumps were developed by our factory through the introduction, digestion, and absorption of advanced technologies. This product features high efficiency, excellent cavitation resistance, and most importantly, stable and reliable operation. Flow-through components are constructed from wear-resistant materials, with friction pairs and flow-through clearance mating surfaces treated using specialized processes. It is suitable for conveying neutral mine water and other similar wastewater containing solid particles not exceeding 1.5% (particle size less than 0.5mm) and temperatures not exceeding 40°C in coal mines, mining operations, factories, and other applications.

The MA-type mine-use multistage water pump features a suction inlet positioned horizontally on the inlet section and a discharge outlet oriented vertically upward on the outlet section. The pump's suction section, intermediate section, and discharge section are integrated using tension bolts. The head can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of pump stages according to operational requirements.

Structure and Working Principle of Key Components in MA Series Mining Multistage Pumps

⑴ Primary Components of the Mining Wear-Resistant Multistage Pump: Suction casing, discharge casing, guide vanes, discharge guide vanes, intermediate casing, impeller, shaft, shaft sleeve, seal ring, balancing ring, balancing disc, and end cover. The rotor consists of components mounted on the shaft, including the impeller and balancing disc. Both ends of the rotor are supported by rolling bearings, which are grease-lubricated.

⑵ The working chamber of the mining wear-resistant multistage pump is formed by the inlet section, intermediate section, guide vanes, outlet guide vanes, outlet section, and tail cover. Fluid enters axially from one side. Axial forces generated during pump operation are balanced by the balancing disc.

① Shaft Seal: Uses soft packing seal. The packing must be adjusted to an appropriate tightness, allowing fluid to seep out drop by drop.

② Drive: The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via a flexible coupling. Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.

③ Seal ring: Prevents high-pressure water from leaking back into the inlet section. Replaceable when worn.

④ Balance disc: Located between the discharge section and tail cover, it balances axial forces.

⑤ Balancing Ring and Balancing Sleeve: Fixed to the discharge section, they form the balancing assembly with the balancing disc.

⑥ Sleeve Bushings: Located at both packing chambers, replaceable upon wear.

④ Working Principle: The pump shaft rotates driven by the motor, imparting energy to the liquid. This increases its pressure, enabling the required volume of liquid to be delivered from the suction tank through the pump's flow components to the desired elevation or pressure point.
