XBD-SW Horizontal Split-Case Fire Pump is a new energy-efficient horizontal split-case fire pump designed for conveying clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. Primarily used for boosting water pressure in fire protection systems, it is also suitable for applications such as water treatment plants, irrigation, drainage pumping stations, power stations, air conditioning circulation water systems, industrial water supply systems, fire protection systems, shipbuilding, oil refining systems, mining, and other liquid transfer scenarios.
Features of the XBD-SW Horizontal Split Case Fire Pump
1. Built-in Sealing and Lubrication Structure: The integrated sealing and lubrication system within the split case fire pump enables more direct and effective lubrication and flushing of the pump's sealing system.
2. Aesthetic Design: Featuring a linear profile with reinforced ribs on the pump cover, the built-in sealing and lubrication structure creates a seamless, unified pump body. Flexible structural design enhances the pump's elegant and refined appearance.
3. High Efficiency: Utilizing CFD computational fluid dynamics, the pump analyzes internal pressure and velocity distributions to optimize flow path design. This ensures efficient hydraulic profiles and enhanced overall efficiency. A dual-flow-path design minimizes radial forces. Resin sand mold casting for flow-through components (pump body, cover, impeller) guarantees dimensional accuracy and hydraulic performance. The XBD-S series achieves 3–5% higher efficiency than conventional double-suction fire pumps.
4. High Balancing Precision: Rotor components meet G1.0 dynamic balancing accuracy.
5. Shaft: The compact, high-rigidity shaft features increased diameter to extend bearing and mechanical seal service life. Its fully enclosed design prevents media contact, eliminating corrosion and ensuring longevity.
6. Dual volute casing: The XBD-SW horizontal split-case high-head fire pump employs a dual volute design to reduce radial forces.
