For deep well fire pumps, remove the plug to allow excess grease to drain automatically. For oil-lubricated pumps, drain oil to the correct level. Regarding fire pump usage: If the foot valve is found to be higher than the pump during purchase, this is unsuitable. In some cases, it may be slightly larger, while in others slightly smaller. This indicates a manufacturer defect and should not be tolerated for convenience. The foot valve must be thoroughly inspected, and the machine should not be used if it fails to meet specifications. If this occurs, contact the manufacturer to find a properly sized, better-fitting foot valve.
Fire Pump Usage Tip 2: If the impeller diameter is too small during operation, it will significantly impact work efficiency. While the impeller may not be entirely unqualified, its size will inevitably cause issues. Replacing the impeller is essential for optimal machine performance.
Fire Pump Usage Tip 3: If excessive impeller clearance occurs during operation, the operator must verify whether this clearance is within normal parameters. This is a relatively common issue during use. When such a situation arises, the primary cause should be investigated, and appropriate measures should be taken accordingly.
