What are the control requirements for fire hydrants?
1. The fire pump control system should not be configured to automatically stop the pump. When the pump ceases operation, personnel must possess management authorization appropriate to the fire safety situation. Remove the plug from deep well fire pumps to automatically drain excess grease. For oil-lubricated pumps, drain oil to the correct level. During maintenance of vertical fire pumps, fault diagnosis is critical. Below are common faults and corrective measures for targeted troubleshooting. Fire gas pressure equipment is categorized into different types based on classification methods. With its fully sealed, leak-free, and corrosion-resistant characteristics, it is widely used in environmental protection, water treatment, and firefighting sectors for pumping various liquids. It is an ideal pump for creating leak-free, pollution-free workshops and factories. The pump types used in firefighting systems are similar, differing only in head and flow rate.
2. Fire pumps must ensure normal startup within 2 minutes from receiving the pump signal to achieving normal system operation after a fire alarm is triggered.
3. Fire pumps should automatically activate via:
- A low-pressure switch on the discharge pipe
- A flow switch on the outlet pipe of the elevated fire water tank
- A pressure switch on the alarm valve
...Pressure switches within the fire pump room must be controlled...
4. Fire pumps shall be capable of manual start/stop operation and automatic activation.
5. Pressure-maintaining pumps shall be automatically activated/deactivated by pressure switches installed on the fire system supply network or air pressure tanks, or controlled by pressure transmitters.
6. The fire safety control center or building control room shall be equipped with control and display modules for the following fire water supply facilities:
7. As shown, control cabinets or panels shall allow manual setting or simulation of switch signals via direct connection to pump start buttons;
8. Control cabinets or panels shall display operational status data for fire pumps and pressure-stabilizing pumps within the fire protection system;
